NBA Pelicans Zion Williams Trade Request deadline

NBA players have an exciting season to look forward to. This year there will be new faces all around and some new teams will join the ranks. This is where your NBA Pelicans Zion Williams trade request deadline comes into play. If you want to get a player into your NBA live this season, now is the time.

You must realize that there are very few players in the NBA that have developed as consistently as Williams has over the course of his two seasons with the Orlando Magic. He is developing a reputation as one of the best young players in the league. This is a guy that just keeps getting better every year he plays. This is a guy that the Phoenix Suns should keep for at least another season. So, when the deadline comes, if you have his contract in hand, don’t let him slip away.

As the Bulls fans eagerly wait for the opening of free agency this summer, we can only hope that this time it will be different. We can only wish that they would offer a decent package to get Lin out of the Queens. That package might include a first round draft pick in the upcoming lottery. Lin is a fantastic All-Star and a top 10 player, but he is not in the same tier as one of the leading candidates to be named the NBA Eastern Conference All Star Team. That honor goes to a player that has put a remarkable year on the court for the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons need a lot more than just Lin and Williams. They need a complete overhaul of their defense. They have been terrible on that end the entire year. It has been a complete disaster from the start. It is amazing the number of mistakes that they have been giving up late in close games.

But this is the one area where Lin can really help the Pistons. He is one of the best at getting into the lane and creating shots for his teammates. That is something very important that the Bulls have been missing all year. Even with Bulls big men coming and going, there is no real depth at the guard position. Unless of course Vince Carter comes to play his magic.

I think it is highly doubtful that Lin will be moved before the deadline. I also don’t think the Phoenix Suns are going to part with him any earlier either. There is a very good chance that they will hold onto him until the end of the season or possibly all year. I don’t see how anyone can convince the Phoenix front office to give up such a valuable commodity for nothing in return.

I also don’t believe the trade will net the Pistons any better players either. The Pistons need big guys, and they just do not have any available right now. They would be crazy to trade for a player who is a bad fit for their style of play and might not even make the NBA this season. So they will continue to sit back and hope things improve. Don’t expect the Pistons to suddenly turn into a title contender any time soon.

I’m going to go ahead and list the Western Conference teams that will likely be playing at the top of the bracket in the Eastern Conference. We will also take a look at the player or players most likely to leave his NBA basketball career. That should make for an entertaining read. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can shoot me an e-mail. I’ll be back soon, happy to answer your questions.
